ABOUT US   Black Pearl Studios is a boutique production company specializing in advertising and commercial Photo & video production. We do this on both a local and a global scale. The Strength of Black Pearl Studios is our access to talented and hard working freelance videographers, artist, designers, web developers, illustrators and advertising professionals, with a unique ability to build brands from concept to inception. Building brands today requires a keen understanding of how new channels, and vibrant creativity combine. This means a willingness to use the broadest array of tools and techniques to understand, develop, and enhance the relationship between a consumer and a brand. This keeps our understanding of the local consumer and marketplace intimate with direct marketing concepts like our advertising and outdoor marketing events through sponsorship of unique entities such as the "MBV TOUR" (Model's Beach Volley Tour).   The Creative director and founder of Black Pearl Studios is Sean Andrade, a former agent turned Fashion Photographer. Sean spent 17 years in the fashion business in New York. some of that time was spent working as an agent, representing some of the top hair / makeup artist and Fashion Photographers working in New York and around the world at the time. He booked jobs with major clients from cosmetic companies such as Chanel, Estee Lauder, Revlon, Covergirl, and Avon, to publications such as Vogue, Elle, Bazaar, Allure, Seventeen and Glamour magazines, as well as major design houses and retailers such as Bloomingdales, Saks 5th Avenue, and Macy's.   During this time, Sean made the natural transition to Fashion Photography, becoming a working Fashion Photographer himself, working with the hair / makeup artist and Fashion Photographers he previously represented. Having studied photography since a child, he attended an advanced high school of art, design, music and theater, then later studying at the New York University Tisch school of film. Since leaving New York, he has settled in Miami Beach and Hawaii, and spends part of the year living in Paris. Recently having worked on a reality series filmed in Miami Beach and aired on VH1, Sean is now transitioning into television & film with his new production company in Hawaii, Black Pearl Studios, and in Miami Beach with projects that will be announced SUMMER 2018. Black Pearl Studios first major film project will be the "Paradise Beach Reality Series" in conjunction with our promotional division the WBVA TOUR INC. (Women's Beach Volleyball Association Inc. located in Hawaii) and sponsor of the MBVTOUR.COM (models beach volleyball tour). We are currently in pre-production, and will start preview filming during summer / fall 2018. Until then, we will be busy updating and expanding our website and Social Media with cutting egde digital media, video content, blogs, as well as expanding and updating our social networking presence in preperation for our Summer / Fall 2018 projects.
